FULL-FEATURED COMFORT The ST Elite System combines Hollis' most popular single tank components into one, including the Elite 2 harness for the ultimate in features and comfort in a backplate and harness system. This kit is preassembled from the factory and includes unique components depending on the configuration. For warm water and travel destinations we have the ST Elite Travel, which includes the ST22 wing Aluminum backplate 2.0, Delrin cam bands and Backplate backpad 2.0. While those diving in colder waters can choose the ST Elite system, which includes the ST35 wing, Stainless backplate 2.0 and Backplate backpad 2.0.

How does the Elite 2 harness differ from a standard minimalist tech harness?

Unlike a standard continuous-weave harness, the Elite 2 harness features ergonomic, quick-adjust shoulder straps with integrated padding and quick-release buckles. This makes putting on, taking off, and fine-tuning the fit much easier while maintaining the structural rigidity of a backplate system.

Do I need a Single Tank Adapter (STA) to mount a tank?

No. The ST wing features an integrated stability plate and built-in cam band slots designed to mount directly to a single cylinder securely without requiring a heavy metal single tank adapter, helping keep travel weight down.

Can I convert the ST Elite single-tank system into a double-cylinder configuration later?

Yes. Because the system is built around a modular backplate (either aluminum or stainless steel) and standard 11-inch spacing bolt holes, you can easily swap out the single-tank ST wing for a double-cylinder wing (such as the DT50) and add dual cylinder bands whenever you are ready to transition into technical doubles diving.
