Class Registration

Class Registration

Registration for the 2025 Spring Session will open on Sunday, March 9th. The 2025 Spring Session will take place from April 7th through June 1st 2025. There will be no classes on Sunday April 20th, with a make up scheduled June 8th. The session will be 8 weeks long.

Each class meets once per week for 8 weeks. Please view our FAQ below for more info. If you would like to be notified when registration will begin for future sessions please contact us.

Ashley Bolling

Ashley is a certified Swim Instructor Trainer with Starfish Aquatics Institute. SAI has paired up with PADI Swim Schools to offer an innovative and learner-focused curriculum to achieve swim and safety benchmarks. Ashley’s goal is to insure a positive experience for children of all ages and skill levels. Ashley meets each child where they are at in their swimming journey and strives to gain each students trust and provide a curriculum that challenges them. 

Ashley has brought her passion for teaching children safety in and around the water through a fun filled curriculum to Santa Barbara Aquatics and looks forward to bringing the joy of swimming to kids of all ages!

Adhvika Parashuram

Hello everyone, I’m Adhvika and I’m so excited to be teaching at Santa Barbara Aquatics! I’ve been working with kids for the last 6 years and I started swimming competitively at the age of 10. So, I’m really happy to join my love for working with children and swimming to create a fun and safe learning environment in the pool. I’m currently a second year at SBCC and look forward to sharing my passion for all things water! 

Vivien Nieto

Hey! I’m Vivien and I am first-year Economics major at UCSB! I started swimming competitively at the age of 9 and played competitive water polo once I entered high school. I also participated in the junior lifeguard program growing up where I eventually began teaching ocean safety and how to swim in the ocean. It is very rewarding for me to be a part of kids journeys in learning to swim because it is where I fell in love with swim and everything that has to do with being in the water!

Kaylee Van Voorn

My name is Kaylee van Voorn and I am a second year English and political science student at UCSB! My hometown is Utrecht, The Netherlands and in my free time I play field hockey, snowboard, and play the guitar. I love to scuba dive, surf, and I hope to share my passion for the ocean and swimming with all the kids!

Thea Neushul

Hi I’m Thea! I just recently graduated from UCSB. I’ve been teaching swim lessons for about 8 years now, and have been lifeguarding for the past 5. I grew up swimming and playing water polo, and in my free time I coach the women’s club water polo team at UCSB! I started teaching at Santa Barbara Aquatics at the beginning of this year, and it’s so great to see how much the students improve their swimming skills over the course of the program, as well as become more comfortable in the water. I think water safety is extremely important, and it’s awesome to share my love for swimming!
