No traditional D-rings - part of how it hits 5.5 lb. A stainless carabiner on the right shoulder clips a gauge or accessory; divers wanting more points add aftermarket rings to the waist hardware.

How is the women's BioLite different from the men's?

Shorter torso cut, women's size range (XS-L), and a women's-specific fit pattern.

Is the BioLite good for cold water?

It's best for warm-water wetsuit travel. Max lift is 38 lb in L (32 in XS-M) - marginal for drysuits with heavy steel tanks.

Will it feel different from my jacket BCD?

Yes - back-inflation means flatter trim underwater and a slight forward tilt at the surface when fully inflated, until you adjust your weighting.
