How much weight can the Photon Pro hold, and what is QLR4?

30 lb total: two QLR4 (Quick Lock Release 4) pockets at 10 lb each up front, plus two 5 lb rear trim pockets. QLR4 pockets click into the harness and release with one firm pull, the same motion in any conditions.

Photon Pro vs Photon Air?

The Pro is heavier with 304 stainless hardware, up to 42 lb lift, 30 lb weight capacity, TankTamer standard, knife tray, and zip pockets. The Air is the lighter travel version with polymer hardware.

Can it handle a drysuit and heavy cold-water kit?

Yes - 42 lb of lift in MD/LG and up, 30 lb of ballast capacity, and stainless hardware built for repeated cold saltwater immersion.
